Global Assignment by Son (AUH) Sees 1.50% Increase in July
Buenos Aires, Argentina – Families receiving the Universal Assignment by Son (AUH) will see a 1.50% increase in their monthly benefit starting in July. This adjustment reflects the inflation rate recorded in March, which was also 1.5%. The AUH,a significant social welfare program in Argentina, supports mothers, fathers,or guardians with children under 18 who meet specific eligibility criteria.
The AUH has been in place for 16 years and currently benefits approximately 2.5 million families, with an average of less then two children per family, reaching a total of 4.3 million minors. Like other social benefits administered by the pension agency, the AUH is updated monthly based on the latest inflation index.
The reported July figures represent 80% of the total benefit. The remaining 20% is withheld and can be claimed upon submission of the required School and Health Assistance Certificate for the minors under care.
Holders of the AUH can now submit their 2025 AUH Notebook through a straightforward process on the official website of the administering agency.
