Budiope West Constituency celebrates Babirye Milly Babalanda‘s Decisive NRM Primary Victory

Buyende District, Uganda – A wave of enthusiastic congratulations has flooded social media platforms following the resounding victory of Hon. Babirye Milly Babalanda, Uganda’s Minister for the Presidency, in the National resistance Movement (NRM) primaries for the Budiope West parliamentary seat.Babalanda secured an overwhelming mandate from the electorate, garnering an impressive 99,832 votes, which accounted for 81% of the total ballots cast. This decisive win saw her comfortably defeat the incumbent, Hon. Kyoto Ibrahim Mululi, who received 9,995 votes.Other contenders in the race included Mutagaya Denis (12,940 votes), Mukisa Edward (471 votes), Tibatesa william (666 votes), and Mbaziira Fred (448 votes).
