Josh Brock Named New Color Analyst for Georgia Bulldogs Sports Network
Athens,Ga. – The Georgia Bulldogs Sports Network has a new voice in the booth. Former University of Georgia offensive lineman Josh Brock has been appointed as the new color analyst for Georgia football games, a move announced today by learfield and Georgia Bulldogs Sports marketing.
Brock will partner with Director of Broadcast Operations and Voice of the Bulldogs Scott Howard. This transition follows the departure of Eric Zeier, a record-setting UGA quarterback who served as an expert color analyst for 18 seasons.Zeier’s tenure was marked by his insightful analysis,passion for the Bulldogs,and deep connection to the program,cultivated during his successful collegiate and professional playing career.
“We are excited to have Josh join the best broadcast team in college football,” stated UGA senior associate athletic director Alan Thomas. “He will bring great perspective and will be a great fit with Scott Howard. We will miss Eric as he takes a step back from the booth, but we are excited to find new ways to use his insights and analysis in supporting roles of our programming.”
A seasoned media professional with over 15 years of experience in sports broadcasting, both in the booth and on the sidelines, Brock brings a versatile background to his new role.
