Authorities estimate the street value of these narcotics alone too be in the region of Rs900 million.

In a separate, parallel operation, a large consignment of illicit liquor was also confiscated from another vessel. This contraband was destined for illegal distribution.

the effectiveness of these interdictions is attributed to robust intelligence sharing, seamless coordination among the participating forces, and the swift execution of the operations.

The total estimated street value of all seized contraband, including both drugs and liquor, surpasses Rs1 billion. The recovered items have been formally transferred to the Excise, Taxation & Narcotics Control Department (Sindh) for subsequent legal proceedings.

These successful operations highlight the enhanced operational synergy between Pakistan’s maritime and law enforcement agencies. They underscore a shared commitment to combating illicit trade, protecting national maritime interests, and contributing to regional stability.
