Peterson’s NFL journey saw him experience a resurgence with the Washington Redskins (now Commanders) in 2018. After a period of decline marked by injuries and limited play with the Minnesota Vikings, New Orleans Saints, and Arizona Cardinals, Peterson signed a one-year deal with washington. In his first season with the team, he played in 16 games, rushing for 1,042 yards and seven touchdowns. He continued his productive play in the following year, appearing in 15 games and recording 898 rushing yards and five touchdowns.Despite a relatively brief but impactful tenure with the Washington association, Peterson’s overall NFL career was highly distinguished.
