Suspicious Behavior Leads to Arrest
A **Marshall Security** officer noticed an individual acting suspiciously at a sports bar on Ranleigh Crescent. At approximately 10:35 this morning, the officer contacted the Emergency Dispatch Centre, requesting backup. Multiple armed response officers were dispatched to the location.

Officers identified the individual, through CCTV footage, as the suspect wanted in connection with two separate cellphone thefts at the same sports bar during April and May of 2025. The thefts had been reported to the Durban North SAPS. The suspect was immediately taken into custody.
