A royal expert has ignited fresh controversy by alleging that Prince Harry is completely under the influence of his wife, Meghan Markle. Even King Charles is said to be aware of the dynamic, adding fuel to the ongoing debate surrounding the couple’s roles within the family.
Royal Disapproval of Meghan
Author Sally Bedell Smith recently shared a newsletter post containing controversial claims about Queen Elizabeth and her confidante Lady Elizabeth Anson. The post alleges the late Queen considered Meghan “nothing but trouble”
upon her arrival into the Royal Family and was reportedly “not at all content”
before the 2018 Sussex wedding.
Expert’s Take on Meghan’s “Reduced Status”
Royal commentator Esther Krauke weighed in on these claims, suggesting that the Duchess likely dislikes her “reduced status,”
supposedly realizing Harry was a millionaire, not a billionaire.
She told The Sun: “We know that King Charles said something about him being whipped. We keep hearing things consistently coming out from courtiers and people that are close to the Royal Family. The Queen’s opinion of Meghan involved, and it’s much like how the country’s opinion evolved. I think where things went wrong was clearly the cultural clash. I think in some ways Meghan thought she was marrying a billionaire, but was marrying a millionaire with like sort of a reduced status.”
