Penske Racing Names New Leadership

**Jonathan Diuguid** and **Travis Law** have received promotions at Team Penske, filling leadership roles after recent vacancies. The changes follow penalties incurred during Indianapolis 500 qualifying.

New President of Penske Racing

**Jonathan Diuguid**, previously managing director of Porsche Penske Motorsport, is now president of Penske Racing. He brings a wealth of experience, including recent wins at the 24 Hours of Daytona and the 12 Hours of Sebring. Since 2005, **Diuguid** has been with Team Penske, including seven seasons as an NTT INDYCAR SERIES engineer. He worked with drivers like **Ryan Briscoe**, **Helio Castroneves**, and **Josef Newgarden**.

**Travis Law** Appointed Competition Director

A long-time member of the sports car program, **Travis Law** is the new competition director for Penske Racing. He started with Team Penske in 2007 as a tire specialist, eventually becoming a championship-winning chief mechanic in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES. Before this promotion, **Law** served as the competition director for Porsche Penske Motorsport.

Leadership Changes Explained

These promotions follow the departures of three executives: Team President **Tim Cindric**, Managing Director **Ron Ruzewski**, and General Manager **Kyle Moyer**. Team owner **Roger Penske** released them in May. **Moyer** has since joined Arrow McLaren’s NTT INDYCAR SERIES program as director of competition.

As president, **Diuguid** will have oversight over Team Penske competitors across the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship, and the FIA World Endurance Championship. The global motorsport market is projected to reach $37.8 billion by 2027, underscoring the scale of **Diuguid**’s responsibilities (Statista 2024).

NASCAR Leadership Unchanged

The NASCAR leadership structure for Penske Racing South remains the same. **Michael Nelson** continues as president, and **Travis Geisler** will stay on as vice president of competition.
