  • Collaborating with the Clinical Support Center (CSC) for additional support as needed.
  • Maintaining clinical competency through continuous learning and education.

Qualifications for the Clinical Consultant Role

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Clinical certification is mandatory; a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice provider (APP) license is strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in Cardiac ICU (CICU), Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU), Cardiovascular OR (CVOR), or Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab) is required; CVICU experience is highly desirable.
  • While industry experience is preferred, it is indeed not mandatory.
  • Significant experience with ventricular medical devices, supporting a minimum of 10 cases/patients, is essential.
  • Must provide a minimum of two days of live support within the field (case support, patient rounding, providing education), with a total of five days of availability per month.
  • Availability must include one weekend per month, and the ability to work weekends, nights, holidays, and also weekdays.
  • Ability to work at other hospitals aside from base location.
