Isle of Man TT 2025: Todd, Dunlop, Harrison Win Opening races
DOUGLAS – May 24, 2024 – The 2025 Isle of Man TT is underway, and the TT saw Davey Todd, Michael Dunlop, Dean Harrison, and the Crowe brothers take the top spots in the opening races. Isle of Man TT 2025: Todd, Dunlop, Harrison and Crowe Dominate Opening Races
The 2025 Isle of Man TT is underway, featuring a week of intense road racing. Each class-Superbike, Supersport, Superstock, Supertwin, and Sidecar-will compete in two races, culminating in the prestigious Senior TT on Saturday.
Qualifying Week highlights
Despite disruptions during qualifying, Dean Harrison emerged as a top contender for Honda. However, Peter Hickman will miss the races due to injuries sustained in a crash at Kerrowmoar. He has been released from hospital and is back in the paddock to support his 8Ten team-mate,Davey Todd,who is also a strong contender.
Sidecar pair Peter Founds and Jevan Walmsley also crashed during qualifying but escaped with minor injuries.They will miss Monday’s race due to damage to thier machinery.
RST x D3O Superbike TT Race
davey Todd dominated the opening Superbike race, leading from start to finish to secure his third TT win. The 8Ten Racing rider finished the four-lap race 1.2 seconds ahead of Michael Dunlop.
Dunlop closed the gap to just 0.2 seconds at Glen Helen on the third lap, but lost time passing Dean Harrison at Rhencullen. While Dunlop narrowed the margin on the final lap, Todd maintained his lead.
Dunlop was able to close up on todd on the final tour,but was unable to make up any more time and settled for second,with Harrison in third.

Sidecar TT Race 1
Ryan and Callum Crowe dominated the opening Sidecar TT, winning by over a minute from Ben Birchall and Patrick Rosney. They also set a new lap record,becoming the first to achieve a 121 mph lap.
The Crowe brothers, already favored due to Peter Founds and Jevan Walmsley’s absence, pushed the lap record to new heights.
very much tipped as the favorite for the race even before closest rivals Peter Founds and Jevan Walmsley were ruled out of racing by a practice crash, the Crowe brothers didn’t let the lack of close opposition slow them down as they pushed on to raise the TT lap record to a new level for the three-wheeler class.
Lee Crawford and Scott Hardie finished third,with Todd Ellis and Emmanuelle Clement in fourth.

Monster Energy Supersport TT Race 1
Michael Dunlop secured his 30th Isle of Man TT win in the first Supersport race, continuing his unbroken class win streak as 2019. This victory marked Ducati’s first TT win since 1995.
Dean Harrison led for much of the race, but a pitstop gave dunlop the edge.Dunlop closed the gap from five seconds to less than one at Glen Helen and ultimately won by 10 seconds.
He passed by Ballaugh and quickly built a lead to cross the line 10 seconds clear of Harrison, after finishing second in this morning’s Superbike race.
Harrison finished second, with James Hillier taking third.

Superstock Race 1
Dean Harrison claimed his first TT win as 2019 in the delayed and shortened Superstock race, giving Honda its first victory of the event. Davey Todd finished second, 11.7 seconds behind, followed by Michael Dunlop.
