Jablonec Celebrates Anniversary, Hübschman Farewell Amid Pelta Controversy

A Day of celebration and Controversy
Jablonec recently marked its 80th anniversary with a ceremonial match and farewell to Tomáš Hübschman, teh former professional player who retired a year ago. The event, however, was overshadowed by the legal troubles of club owner Miroslav Pelta.

During the exhibition match, which was played in two 30-minute halves, some Jablonec fans chanted Míra Pelta!
This display of support came after the High Court in Prague upheld Pelta’s five-and-a-half-year prison sentence for his involvement in the handling of sports subsidies.
Pelta’s Presence and Absence
Despite the verdict, Miroslav Pelta, 60, attended the match, watching from his usual spot in the main stand next to Petr Syrovát, the president of Liberec’s White tigers. However,he maintained a low profile due to the recent court decision.
After the match,Pelta reportedly inquired about how his appearance looked on television,which broadcast the event live. According to sources, ther was an understanding that it would not be good for Mr. Pelta to perform here somehow, so we were a little corrected.
Star-Studded Lineup
The ceremonial kickoff was performed by Barbora Špotáková, an Olympic champion in javelin and a Jablonec native. The Czech Republic team included notable players such as Pavel nedvěd, Petr Čech, Karel Poborský, Jan Koller, Marek Jankulovski, and Štěpán Vachoušek.The match ended in a 5-5 draw.

David Lafata, a top scorer in the Czech league, donned the light green jersey of Tomáš Hübschman’s team.Lafata expressed his excitement, saying, I am excited that I can play with such footballers, and still at the shooting range in front of such a backdrop that is not common here.
Lafata, a former Jablonec player, also humorously described Hübschman as always a robot.
The match featured appearances from Marek Matějovský and several of Hübschman’s former teammates from Shakhtar Doněck, including Eduard da Silva.
A Farewell to Remember
According to sources, The boys arrived by a bus from Prague. It was not easy to get them here because the time is accelerated, everyone has their lives.They couldn’t even, even if they wanted. Someone didn’t let someone out of the ground. The second half was already rolling for the team of Czech legends.
During the match, Hübschman had the opportunity to score a penalty against Rustam khudzhamov, but he missed. Reflecting on the missed opportunity, Hübschman said, Of course I regret it a little, but I think it just document my career. I was no shooter and the only penalty in my career we kicked in the league and I did not give it, so it probably sitting.
His jersey with the number three will be retired.
