Grand Opening Event: Cypher Jam and Top16 Break’s Fight

The opening event was a showcase of talent and energy,featuring a Cypher Jam,a Top16 Break’s fight,and music by DJ Tomche. MC Deni hosted the event, adding to the lively atmosphere.The Cypher Jam involved dancers performing in a circle, observed by a secret judge who selected the best performers.

Active Vilnius: Promoting Accessible Sports spaces

Gintas Teslia, head of the public institution Active Vilnius, emphasized the goal of creating accessible sports spaces: Our goal is to create open, contemporary and accessible sports spaces for everyone, so we are delighted that the Breiko site under the White Bridge is now moving to Active Vilnius. Not only is it a unique dance and motion space in the city center, it is indeed also another possibility to strengthen the community, inspire young people to actively spend their leisure time and popularize the growing culture of the Breik in Vilnius. We believe that this will encourage youth to choose an active lifestyle.

Accessibility and Hours of Operation

The Breiko site is open to the public from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Sunday, providing ample opportunity for dancers and enthusiasts to utilize the space.

Fresco Nika: An Inspiration for Future Generations

The site features a fresco by artist Cyprus Petrulis, dedicated to B-Girl Nika, aiming to inspire the younger generation. The fresco serves as a visual centerpiece, celebrating Nika’s career and promoting urban culture.

According to Cyprus Petrulis, the fresco Nika tells about the success and achievement of the Olympic medalist, inspire future athletes and girls, promotes the growing scene, will increase the understanding of the advancement of a sport and art, strengthen national and community pride, and improve the city.

The fresco,spanning 25 square meters,combines Vilnius’ heritage with a contemporary spirit,symbolizing national pride and encouraging youth participation in sports and creative endeavors. Petrulis’ work was selected from 13 submissions in a street art competition.
