Montecorvino Rovella, young woman dies at home: two suspects

There are two health workers at the “Ruggi” Salerno investigated for manslaughter and failure to perform official duties after the death of the young mother of Montecorvino Rovella, the 33-year-old Brunette Bruno, which occurred on August 19th. The woman, between Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th August, had felt ill in her home in via Pace and had been taken to the hospital. He was complaining of chest pains and had vomited.

The woman arrived at the emergency room and found herself stuck in the ambulance queue: she had to check in and then be taken to a clinic to be examined. Impatient with the long wait, it was Morena who gave up on hospitalisation and contacted her partner asking to take her home, even before she went through triage. The 33-year-old returned to Montecorvinoprobably the pain in her chest had subsided. Maybe she felt a little better. She avoided having in-depth checks with the doctors on duty, starting with blood tests. During the night, the young mother of three small children died before the stunned eyes of her partner and children.

An unexpected tragedy. Morena’s heart had stopped: the help requested by her family was useless. The Carabinieri and the coroner appointed by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Salerno also arrived on the scene. An investigation was consequently opened. The woman’s family took action through a trusted lawyer, the lawyer Anna Vassallo, so that full light could be shed on the cause of Morena’s death on August 19, caused by cardiac arrest.

The PM in charge of the investigations, the Deputy Prosecutor Gianpaolo Nuzzo, has set the assignment of the autopsy for tomorrow, at 3:00 p.m. Hence the notification of the notice of investigation to the two health workers of the “Ruggi” who will thus be able to appoint a lawyer and their own expert consultant. The family members, through their trusted lawyer Vassallo, have requested the presence of their own medical examiner who will support the pathologist appointed by the prosecutor. We are now waiting for the results of the autopsy to establish what caused the death of Morena Bruno, originally from Giffoni Valley Plain and has been resident in Montecorvino Rovella for several years. In the meantime, the body is awaited for the funeral.
