Remedy and Take-Two Resolve Logo Dispute: Update on Partnership and Max Payne Remakes

The other day it became known that last year the publisher Take-Two opposed the new Remedy logo, presented in April 2023 in the form of a stylized letter “R”, because “there is a possibility of public confusion.”

According to UK data, as of September 2023 the proceedings had not been concluded.

But a Remedy representative contacted reporters today and said that everything is in order – the companies managed to peacefully resolve this dispute at the end of last year.

There is nothing special here – this was a discussion between our teams that was fully and amicably resolved late last year. Unfortunately it took a little longer than we hoped due to some holiday schedules. The filing was just an initial formality, and Remedy and Take-Two continue to work together in partnership.

Currently, companies are working on remakes of the first parts of Max Payne, about which nothing is known yet.
