Al-Marsad newspaper: US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken made an unannounced visit to Iraq yesterday, Sunday.
Anthony Blinken appeared in a number of photos wearing a bullet-proof vest, during his visit to the American embassy in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
During his visit to Iraq, Blinken met with Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani in Baghdad for more than an hour, according to CNN.
He also visited the American embassy, where he received a security briefing about the threat to American facilities.
