(VOVWORLD) – On Saturday evening, the Embassy of Vietnam in Malaysia held a gathering to mark the New Year of the Cat at the embassy in Kuala Lumpur.

At the same time, Vietnamese Ambassador to Malaysia Nguyen Thi Ngoc Anh said that the Vietnamese community in Malaysia is always connected to the homeland and has been helping Vietnamese domestically. She expressed the wish that the Vietnamese community would show solidarity and be better able to integrate into life in Malaysia.
On the same day, the Vietnamese Consulate General in Sydney (Australia) organized the “Spring of Homeland 2023” program. There were art performances, flute concerts and folk games such as tug of war and dough figure modelling.
