Half of the school staff in elementary schools are now students, said an elementary school director from Vienna-Simmering in STANDARD, showing how indispensable students have become for individual schools and the importance they already have in the education system. However, the headmistress also pointed out that the balancing act between work and training was becoming too much for some, which is why the school staff is now coming and going. The situation is similar in other Viennese compulsory schools, sometimes even more precarious.
