Beacon Hill has a new destination for sophisticated cocktails and art deco ambiance with the opening of 89 Charles, a bar featuring a modern mixology program.Located at 89 Charles Street, the bar aims to offer a unique experience complementing the historic neighborhood while introducing a fresh concept to the area.
owner Gennaro Riccio stated the goal was “to create a space with a great cocktail program that feels unique to Beacon Hill – one that complements the character of the neighborhood while also introducing something new for the area.” 89 Charles is situated down the stairs to the left of the entrance to Elegant findings Antiques. The bar encourages reservations, though walk-ins are accepted, and is open from 5 p.m. to midnight Tuesday thru Saturday.
