89 Charles: New Speakeasy Bar Brings 1920s Vibes to Boston

Beacon Hill has a new destination for sophisticated cocktails and art deco ambiance with the opening of 89⁢ Charles, a bar featuring a modern mixology program.Located at 89 Charles Street, ‌the bar aims to offer a unique experience complementing the historic ⁢neighborhood while introducing a fresh concept to the area.

owner Gennaro Riccio stated the​ goal was “to⁤ create a space ⁢with a great cocktail program that feels unique to Beacon Hill – one ‌that complements the ​character of the neighborhood while also‌ introducing something new for the​ area.” 89 Charles is situated‌ down the stairs⁤ to the‍ left of the entrance to Elegant findings Antiques. ⁤The bar encourages reservations, though walk-ins are accepted, and is open from 5 p.m. to midnight Tuesday thru Saturday.
