Two draws, one defeat: That was Milan’s result at the start of Serie A. Coach Paulo Fonseca’s chair was already shaking, but now the Milanese have caught themselves. After Sunday’s 2-1 derby win against Inter, Milan have now followed up against Lecce. There was a 3-0 triumph on Friday evening.
Five wild minutes were enough for the Rossoneri to clinch victory. Shortly before the break, Morata (38th), Hernandez (41st) and Pulisic (43rd) hit the mark and gave Milan the victory. In the table, the Milanese are closing in on leaders Torino. However, the field at the top is very close together and Milan has one more game in their account.
