2027 Toyota Crown Signia: Hybrid SUV Gets More Standard Features and New Color

2027 Toyota Crown Signia: Hybrid SUV Gets More Standard Features and New Color

October 22, 2026 Rachel Kim – Technology Editor Technology

A starting price of $44,890 awaits buyers when the 2027 Toyota Crown Signia arrives at dealerships by the end of 2026, according to an Auto Test report. The hybrid SUV holds firm on its 238-horsepower mechanical setup and electronic all-wheel drive, shifting its focus instead toward expanded standard equipment for the Limited trim and a fresh coat of exterior paint.

Limited Trim Adds Advanced Tech as Standard

The mid-cycle update zeros in on the Limited grade. Features previously bundled into the Advanced Technology Package now come baked right in.

Auto Test reported that these additions include a panoramic view monitor, lane change assistance, traffic jam assistance, front cross-traffic alert, exterior mirrors with puddle lamps and auto-reverse tilt, and front and rear parking assist with automatic braking. Yet certain features demand ongoing subscriptions. Traffic jam assistance relies on a trial or active subscription to Active Drive Connect utilizing a 4G network, while the digital key functionality similarly depends on Remote Connect and a 4G connection.

Toyota Introduces Inked Exterior Color Option

Toyota swapped out black on the exterior color palette for a brand-new option named “Inked.” Meanwhile, the Limited trim maintains its two-tone body configuration. Buyers can pair a black roof with Storm Cloud, Oxygen White, Finish Line Red, or Bronze Age exterior colors.

Hybrid Engine Delivers 238 HP with All-Wheel Drive

Beneath the sheet metal, the 2027 Crown Signia deploys a 2.5-liter four-cylinder DOHC engine. This pairs with a hybrid transmission system and a nickel-metal hydride bipolar battery to punch out a total output of 238 HP.

Electronic on-demand all-wheel drive is standard across the board. The powertrain skips a mechanical transfer case entirely, relying instead on a rear electric motor that kicks in whenever the vehicle senses slick surfaces or hard cornering. Torque distribution shifts dynamically between 100:0 and 20:80 depending on what the road demands.

XLE and Limited Trims Start at $44,890

The entry-level XLE opens at $44,890. It rolls on 19-inch two-tone alloy wheels and packs LED headlamps, a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Toyota Audio multimedia, six speakers, a vertical Qi-compatible wireless charger, and five USB-C ports. Inside, the XLE features heated and ventilated leather-trimmed front seats with eight-way power adjustment for both driver and passenger, driver memory settings, lumbar support, and heated outboard rear seats.

Stepping up to the Limited trim pushes the base price to $51,155, excluding delivery, processing, and handling fees. This tier brings 21-inch wheels, a fixed panoramic glass roof, an 11-speaker JBL Premium audio system with a subwoofer and amplifier, a digital rearview mirror, rain-sensing wipers, and auto-leveling LED headlamps.

Every model comes equipped with the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 suite. That means a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, full-range radar adaptive cruise control, and lane keeping assist come standard. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto join five-year trial subscriptions for Safety Connect, Service Connect, and Remote Connect, alongside a Wi-Fi Connect trial lasting 30 days or 3 GB.

Warranty Protection and Dealership Rollout

Toyota backs the SUV with a 36-month or 36,000-mile basic warranty. The powertrain gets coverage for 60 months or 60,000 miles, hybrid components stretch to 8 years or 100,000 miles, and the high-voltage battery carries a 10-year or 150,000-mile warranty. Every purchase also includes ToyotaCare maintenance for one year or 10,000 miles, paired with two years of roadside assistance.
