GILBERTSVILLE, Ky. – Weigh-in results from the Phoenix Bass Fishing League Presented by T-H Marine event at Kentucky-Barkley Lake were available February 28, 2026, according to Major League Fishing.

The 2026 season of the Phoenix Bass Fishing League features lower entry fees and increased payouts, marking the most rewarding season in the league’s 46-year history, Major League Fishing announced in October 2025. Entry fees have been reduced to $200 for boaters and $100 for co-anglers. The novel payout structure awards 20% of the field, with a 29% increase in winnings for tournament victors and a 25% increase for those receiving checks in qualifying events.

At standard qualifiers, the top boater award is now $4,000 based on a 100-boat field, scaling up to $7,750 with 200 boats. Co-anglers can earn up to $3,875 with 200 boats, starting with a $2,000 top prize at 100 boats. A Phoenix MLF Bonus, ranging from $500 to $7,000, is available for qualified anglers. At least $250 is guaranteed for boaters and $125 for co-anglers, regardless of field size, representing 20% of the field receiving a check.

Super Tournament payouts have also increased, with the top boater award reaching $6,000 at 100 boats, scaling to $11,450 at 200 boats – a 27% increase from 2025. Co-anglers can win up to $5,725. Regional Championship winners receive a Phoenix 819 Pro with a 200HP engine valued at $50,000, while the top co-angler receives a Phoenix 518 Pro with a 115HP engine, valued at $33,500 – a 67% increase from the previous year. The top seven boaters and co-anglers from each Regional Championship advance to the All-American tournament.

A Wild Card event is available for anglers who fish a full division but do not qualify through points, offering payouts comparable to Super Tournaments. The top seven boaters and co-anglers from the Wild Card also advance to the All-American. The 2027 BFL All-American will feature $100,000 in prize money.
