2026 Philadelphia Flower Show: Dates, Location & Tickets
Philadelphia’s Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS) unveiled plans for the 197th annual Philadelphia Flower Show today, with this year’s theme, “Rooted: Origins of American Gardening,” set to transform the Pennsylvania Convention Center from February 28 through March 8.
Mayor Cherelle Parker joined PHS officials in a first appear at the upcoming show, which organizers say will explore the traditions, influences, and stories that have shaped American gardening over the centuries. The event, the nation’s largest and longest-running horticultural event, anticipates tens of thousands of visitors, according to the PHS.
“This year’s Flower Show feels especially personal due to the fact that every plant or garden carries a story behind it,” said Seth Pearsoll, Vice President and Creative Director of the PHS Philadelphia Flower Show. “We all have memories tied to plants and ‘Rooted: Origins of American Gardening’ is about sharing those diverse experiences and the ways they connect us. It will be a show filled with memory, meaning, and incredible creativity.”
The 2026 show will feature imaginative designs and botanical artistry intended to honor the gardeners, cultures, and landscapes that have contributed to the evolution of American gardening. The Pennsylvania Convention Center, located at 1101 Arch Street, will host the event.
