The committee of fêtes in Toul, France, is preparing three new events for 2026, in addition to its usual annual program, according to a report published today by L’Est Républicain.

The new events include the first edition of the Festival des Terroirs Lorrains, scheduled for September 19 and 20, a dinner dance on September 27 and an unspecified third event. Daniel Pierre, president of the committee, offered no details on the third event in the report.

The Festival des Terroirs Lorrains will be the first of its kind, according to the committee’s website. The committee likewise announced dates for other events, including the 40th Salon des Vins, April 10-12, and the Salon Toul’En Energies et Santé Autrement, November 28 and 29.

Separately, the Festival des Terroirs, organized by the Association Le Tour des Terroirs, will be held in Lyon from April 24 to 26, 2026. This event will feature a “0 waste” food court with 40 chefs, a market with nearly 80 producers and artisans, and a series of competitions to identify top talent. The festival will also include a solidarity ticketing system, allowing attendees to support the event based on their means, according to information on HelloAsso.

Maxime Frédéric, the 2025 World’s Best Pastry Chef and co-founder of the Pleincœur bakery, is supporting the Lyon festival, according to Le Tour des Terroirs.

The Lyon festival will also feature a new outdoor stage for debates and discussions, a new culinary demonstration space, interactive workshops, and cooking classes led by chefs and artisans associated with Le Tour des Terroirs.
