2026 Actor Awards: Nominations, Winners & How to Watch Live

February 27, 2026 Julia Evans – Entertainment Editor Entertainment

The 32nd Actor Awards, formerly known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards, will stream live from the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 1, on Netflix. The ceremony, which will run approximately two hours, begins at 5 p.m. Pacific Time.

This year’s awards mark the inaugural edition under the newly rebranded name, a change announced in November by SAG-AFTRA to better align the show’s title with the actual award statuette, known as “The Actor.” The rebrand as well acknowledges the union’s full identity as SAG-AFTRA following its 2012 merger.

“Marty Supreme” star Timothée Chalamet is positioned to make history at the awards. A win for his performance in “Marty Supreme” would make him the first nominee to win in the same category in two consecutive years. He faces competition from Jessie Buckley, nominated for her role in “Hamnet.”

Other film nominees include Paul Thomas Anderson’s “One Battle After Another,” which leads with seven nominations, and Ryan Coogler’s “Sinners,” with five nominations. Top television nominees include “The Pitt,” “The White Lotus,” “Adolescence,” and “The Studio,” with a nomination for the late Catherine O’Hara.

Kristen Bell will host the ceremony for the third time, having previously hosted in 2018 and 2025. Prior to the main event, Paige DeSorbo and Scott Evans will host “The Actor’s Red Carpet,” the official pre-show, streaming live on Netflix at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT.

The awards will honor actor and activist Harrison Ford with the SAG-AFTRA Life Achievement Award, the union’s highest honor. As SAG-AFTRA President Sean Astin emphasized, the Actor Awards are unique in that they are “created exclusively by actors and for actors.”
