ESPN to Exclusively Broadcast 2025 MLB Wild Card Series
Beginning September 30, 2025, ESPN networks will be the exclusive home for the MLB Wild Card Series, the network announced today, september 29, 2024. The multi-year agreement expands ESPN’s coverage of Major League Baseball’s postseason, bringing the excitement of the Wild Card round to a wider audience.
This marks the first time the entire MLB Wild Card Series will be presented exclusively across ESPN,ESPN2,and streaming via ESPN+. The expanded coverage builds on ESPN’s existing portfolio of MLB programming,including Sunday Night Baseball and select regular-season games. The Wild Card Series determines which teams advance to the Division Series, setting the stage for the ultimate pursuit of the World Series championship.
