Daejeon‘s Seo jin-soo Named K League 1 Round 38 MVP after Dominant Performance
GIMCHEON, SOUTH KOREA - December 3, 2025 - Daejeon Hana Citizen striker Seo Jin-soo has been awarded the Most Valuable Player (MVP) honour for the 38th and final round of the 2025 Hana Bank K League 1 season, the Professional Football League announced today. Seo’s stellar performance propelled Daejeon to a decisive victory and secured their second-place finish in the regular league standings.
Seo earned the recognition after a commanding display in Daejeon’s away match against Gimcheon Sangmu on November 30th, contributing directly to all three goals with two goals and one assist. This performance led to a 3-0 win for Daejeon,showcasing both their attacking prowess and defensive solidity. As an inevitable result of their strong finish, Daejeon was also named the Best Team of Round 38.
The K League 1’s Best 11 and MVP selections are determined through a comprehensive evaluation process conducted by the Technical Research Group (TSG) under the Korea Professional Football League’s Technical committee, utilizing both quantitative data and qualitative analysis. The TSG combines game-by-game assessments with ratings from the league’s official data partner, BePro.
