1976 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Cheyenne – Restored 350ci V8 4×4

A meticulously restored 1976 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Cheyenne, previously sold at auction in October 2025, is again available for purchase, this time with a clean Oregon title. The vehicle’s return to the market follows the failure of the initial winning bidder to finalize the transaction, a situation that resulted in the bidder’s restrictions on Bring a Trailer and a non-refund of their buyer’s fee, according to information provided by the seller.

The Crimson Red and Summit White Blazer underwent a comprehensive, body-off refurbishment beginning in 2022, a process the seller estimates required 1,500 hours of labor. The restoration involved stripping the body to bare metal, repairing damage, and applying multiple coats of primer and paint using products from Evercoat Rage, PPG, Sikkens, RM, and Glasurit. Body gaps and lines were refined over approximately 100 hours of work, and all weatherstripping and seals were replaced.

Originally equipped with a 400 cubic inch V8 engine, the Blazer now features a rebuilt 350ci V8. The engine rebuild included boring the cylinders, installing new pistons, polishing the crankshaft, and resurfacing the cylinder heads. FiTech fuel injection was added after the initial listing on Bring a Trailer, along with a replacement fuel pump and new fuel lines and gaskets for both the transmission and oil pan. The engine is paired with a three-speed automatic transmission.

The chassis also received significant attention during the restoration. The frame was wire-wheeled and coated with POR-15, a protective coating designed to prevent rust. The steering gearbox, brake lines, shocks, and control arms were replaced. Subsequent to the first auction listing, the brake booster, master cylinder, and calipers were also replaced, along with a steering tie rod and stabilizer.

The interior of the Blazer has been fully updated with Saddle vinyl upholstery on the low-back bucket and rear bench seats. New carpeting with sound-deadening material was installed, and the dashboard, armrests, and door locks were replaced. A roll bar, center console, Pioneer stereo, and aftermarket speakers have been added. The air conditioning system was overhauled in preparation for sale, with a new compressor, condenser, dryer, expansion valve, evaporator, blower motor, and vents installed. Rear seatbelts are not present.

The instrument panel, finished in woodgrain, houses a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges monitoring fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The five-digit odometer currently displays approximately 23,000 miles, with around 300 miles added by the seller. The vehicle’s total mileage remains unknown.

The Blazer rides on lifted suspension and 15-inch Rally wheels fitted with 33×10.50 inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires. The drivetrain includes a locking rear differential, and a custom exhaust system with long-tube headers and a Flowmaster muffler. The vehicle was originally registered to a single family before being acquired by the current seller in 2021.

According to listings, similar 1976 Chevrolet K5 Blazers are currently for sale, with 86 models available as of today. A comparable 1976 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Cheyenne 4×4 recently reached a bid of $33,333 on Bring a Trailer, as of February 16, 2026.
