13-Year-Old TikToker Arrested in Lyantonde Over Alleged Incitement and Sectarian Content

August 6, 2026 Lucas Fernandez – World Editor World

Law enforcement officials apprehended the minor from a hideout in Kooki C Cell following intelligence-led investigations into digital platforms spreading social division.

The Arrest of Twikirize Clever in Lyantonde District

Twikirize, a resident of Kooki D Cell, had allegedly been operating the “Mad Hunter” TikTok account to distribute video clips and textual messages featuring vulgar and offensive language.

Greater Masaka Police Spokesperson Kasirye Twaha confirmed the apprehension and stated that investigators are actively reviewing the digital media recovered from the minor’s account. Twikirize remains held in police custody while investigations proceed, with additional updates promised by the police as the case moves forward.

Growing Regulatory Scrutiny on Digital Platforms

Authorities across multiple jurisdictions have increasingly targeted online accounts that utilize inflammatory rhetoric to deepen social divides or encourage civil unrest.

Ongoing Investigations and Legal Procedures

Ensuring adherence to local communication standards remains critical for community stability.

The inquiry into the Lyantonde District TikTok broadcasts underscores a broader regional effort to police online spaces. As law enforcement agencies refine their digital surveillance capabilities, the outcome of this case will likely serve as an important benchmark for how authorities handle juvenile cyber offenses.
