Fraunhofer Institute Hosts World Psoriasis Day Event in Frankfurt
FRANKFURT, GERMANY – The Fraunhofer Institute for Translational medicine and Pharmacology ITMP will host an information event on October 29, 2025, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the University Hospital Frankfurt, marking world Psoriasis Day. This year’s international theme focuses on “Psoriatic Disease and Comorbidities.”
psoriasis, affecting approximately 2 million people in Germany, is a chronic inflammatory systemic disease extending beyond skin symptoms like flaking and redness. Individuals with psoriasis face an increased risk of developing related conditions, including joint inflammation (arthritis) and Crohn’s disease.
The event, held at the 4D Inflammation Clinic in lecture hall 22 (Theodor-Stern-Kai 7, 60590 Frankfurt am Main), will cover the connections between psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, and Crohn’s disease. attendees will also learn about current research, available study opportunities, and have the chance to connect with the IMPACT patient advisory board, followed by a get-together.
