Traffic on these lines should not resume before 8 p.m.
Public transport is disrupted on Tuesday on the TCL network after a malicious act, reports the Lyon public transport Twitter account. Due to an “arson”, “lines T3, T7 and the Rhône Express no longer run”.
On the site of the transport company, it is indicated that the resumption of traffic on these lines will not take place before 8 p.m.
According to Keolis, the network manager, the fire took place near the “Décines Grand Large” tram station. The damage is significant, “the fire damaged an electrical substation, underground boxes, cables, the fiber to run the trams”.
Relay buses
In addition, “line T4 runs from Gare de Vénissieux to Hôpital Feyzin”. The stations of La Doua – G. Berger in La Borelle are no longer served in both directions of traffic. The resumption of normal traffic is estimated at 10 a.m.
Finally, “relay buses serve the stations from Gare Part-Dieu Villette to Meyzieu ZI”. The TCLs indicate that they are mobilized to restore traffic as quickly as possible. After a diagnosis, the repair work has been launched but will take time.
