The National News Agency reported that “the inspection platoon of the Internal Security Forces at the airport seized a large sum of money, estimated at $120,000, with an Ethiopian domestic worker who was on her way to leave Lebanon.”
The agency pointed out that the inspection platoon of the Internal Security Forces at the airport rushed to contact the sponsor of the Ethiopian worker where she was working, to find out that most of the money was stolen from his house.
The Ethiopian worker was transferred to the administrative and judicial police at the airport to conduct investigations, and then the amount was handed over to its owner.
