55 passengers were forgotten to board the plane; The DGCA requests a report from Go First Air

New Delhi: DGCA has requested a report from Go First Air regarding the incident of passengers forgetting to board. The flight took off without carrying 55 passengers who boarded the airline bus. The incident happened at Kempagowda airport in Bangalore.

G8 Flight 116 departed for Delhi carrying no passengers. Subsequently, 53 of the 55 passengers were re-boarded to another flight and taken to Delhi. Two passengers have been reimbursed.

Many people complained on social media about the incident. Most of the complaints concerned the Prime Minister’s Office and the Minister of Aviation. The DGCA’s action came after large numbers of people came to protest. Then the airline officials expressed their regret that they did not board the passengers.
