-title Starlink Mission: SpaceX Launches 28 Satellites from Vandenberg

SpaceX⁢ marked a critically ⁢important milestone today, ⁢October 31, 2025, with the launch of‌ its 100th dedicated Starlink mission of the year. A Falcon 9 rocket lifted ‍off ‌from California, carrying 28 Starlink satellites to orbit. ‍This launch underscores SpaceX’s⁤ rapid⁢ expansion of its ‍satellite⁤ internet constellation and its continued dominance‌ in launch frequency.

the sheer volume ⁢of launches highlights SpaceX’s commitment to building out Starlink, a service aimed at providing high-speed, low-latency internet access globally, particularly to underserved‍ areas. As of today, SpaceX has conducted 138 falcon 9 missions in 2025, with Starlink⁤ deployments accounting for 99 of those flights. This aggressive launch ⁣cadence is crucial for meeting growing demand and expanding the network’s coverage.

The Falcon 9’s first stage booster, designated 1063, successfully returned to Earth approximately 8.5 minutes⁢ after launch, landing on the‍ SpaceX drone ship “Of Course I Still ‍Love You” in the Pacific Ocean. This was the 29th flight for booster 1063, nearing the Falcon 9 reuse record of 31 flights.

Following stage separation,⁢ the Falcon 9’s upper stage will continue‌ to deploy the‌ 29 ‌Starlink satellites to Low Earth Orbit (LEO),‌ a process expected to be ⁤completed about an ⁢hour after liftoff.⁢ These satellites ⁣will join the ⁢existing constellation,⁢ further⁢ enhancing Starlink’s ⁣capacity and⁣ service availability.
