Sony Launches WH-1000XM6 Headphones wiht Enhanced Noise Cancellation in India
new Delhi: Sony India has announced the launch of the WH-1000XM6 wireless noise-cancelling headphones, featuring a new 12-microphone system for improved noise detection and the HD Noise Cancelling Processor QN3. The headphones will be available starting September 29, 2025, at a best buy price of ₹39,990.
The WH-1000XM6 incorporates an Adaptive NC Optimiser which automatically adjusts noise cancellation based on the environment and air pressure,alongside an updated Ambient Sound mode. Thay utilize a carbon fibre composite dome driver unit and a new voice coil structure, supporting High-Resolution Audio wirelessly via LDAC and with upscaling via Edge-AI-based DSEE Extreme.
Additional features include controls via the Sony | Sound Connect app, offering a 10-band equaliser, film audio effects, and a Game EQ from the INZONE range, as well as 360 Reality Audio Upmix. For calls, a six-microphone AI-based beamforming system isolates voice and reduces background noise, and the headphones support LE Audio with auracast and multipoint connections.
the redesigned WH-1000XM6 features a headband with vegan leather and wider padding, stretchable earpads, and a metal injection folding mechanism. The case now closes magnetically. Battery support includes fast charging, providing up to three hours of playback from a three-minute charge, and listening while charging via USB is possible.
The headphones will be available in Black, Platinum Silver, and Midnight Blue through Sony Centres, select Croma and Reliance outlets, ShopatSC.com, and Amazon.
