Singer Received Traffic Ticket Days Before Dismembered Teen Found in His tesla
Los Angeles, CA – R&B singer D4vd, whose real name is David Brandon Rodriguez, received a traffic citation in Los Angeles eleven days before the remains of a 15-year-old girl were discovered in the trunk of his Tesla, according to law enforcement records. The discovery has triggered a homicide investigation and raised questions about the timeline of events surrounding the teen’s death.
The case centers on Celeste Garcia, a 15-year-old from Lake Elsinore, whose dismembered remains were found on August 5th inside a Tesla registered to Rodriguez. While police have not named Rodriguez as a suspect, the timing of the traffic ticket – issued July 25th – and his subsequent departure from his Hollywood Hills mansion have drawn increased scrutiny. The investigation remains ongoing, with authorities pursuing “several leads” as they seek to determine the circumstances of Garcia’s death and identify those responsible.
On September 21st, a candlelight vigil was held in Lake Elsinore for Garcia, with mourners demanding “Justice for Celeste.” Evelyn, an attendee at the vigil, expressed the community’s fear, stating, “This really hits home as a mom. this could have been anybody’s kid.”
Rodriguez has as broken his lease on the Hollywood Hills property and moved to an undisclosed location. A man identifying himself as Rodriguez’s brother told KTLA that the family is “grieving.” No arrests have been made as of today, and both police and Garcia’s family are limiting public statements while the investigation continues.
