Location: Waltham, MA
Salary: $156,500 – $211,700/year
About the Role:
Arm is seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to focus on performance optimization of their software. You will analyze performance bottlenecks, recommend/prototype/implement improvements, and build tools to empower the growth team. This role involves collaboration wiht software, hardware, and system teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and analyze performance issues in a specific area.
Develop and implement performance enhancements.
Create tooling and plugins for performance understanding & improvement.
Required Skills:
C++ performance optimization expertise.
Scripting language proficiency (Python,Javascript,etc.).
Strong interaction (written & spoken English) & interpersonal skills.
Bonus Skills:
full software development lifecycle experience.
Benchmarking & reporting infrastructure experience.
Low-level software/firmware/driver development.
CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Docker, AWS).
* Large-team collaboration experience.
