OMT Boosts COVID-19 Vaccine‍ Response & Speeds Recovery, New Study Finds

Los Angeles, CA – A groundbreaking new study published in Virus Research reveals ‌that⁣ Osteopathic manipulative Treatment (OMT) can substantially enhance ⁢the immune response‍ to COVID-19 vaccination and accelerate recovery from breakthrough ⁤infections. ‌researchers at Western University of Health Sciences (WesternU) College of Osteopathic Medicine of the‌ Pacific (COMP) found that ⁤a brief lymphatic OMT‍ protocol administered alongside vaccination boosted antibody⁤ levels and reduced the severity and duration⁤ of illness in participants.

The randomized‌ trial, involving 104 participants (with a primary‌ analysis focused on 51⁣ individuals previously uninfected with COVID-19), demonstrated a compelling link between OMT ⁤and improved immune function. Participants receiving a five-minute lymphatic OMT session‌ promptly ⁤after ⁣each ⁢vaccine dose, and the day following, exhibited higher‍ antibody levels at three weeks and ⁢a sustained, stronger antibody response‍ through ⁤13 weeks compared to those receiving ⁤standard⁣ care. This effect was particularly pronounced in ⁤individuals who had not ⁣previously contracted COVID-19.

But‌ the benefits didn’t stop at vaccination. The study also⁣ showed that ⁢OMT significantly improved outcomes for those who ⁢experienced breakthrough infections‌ despite being vaccinated. ⁤Participants receiving OMT recovered faster – ⁢averaging 4.5 days of illness compared to 8
