The Jackson Hole Stingrays swim team is seeking a latest head coach, according to a posting on the Wyoming Swimming website dated March 19, 2026. The position, announced by Wyoming Swimming, opens the search for a leader to guide the team as it enters its 2025-2026 season.
The Jackson Hole Stingrays, a USA Swimming-affiliated club, serve swimmers aged 5 to 18 in Jackson, Wyoming, and surrounding areas. The team competes throughout Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho. Registration for the 2025-2026 season began August 15, 2025, and will continue through August 14, 2026, according to information available through Active.com.
The team offers five levels of participation, ranging from introductory skills to advanced competitive training. Current registration fees vary by level, with options for both six-payment and two-payment plans. Level 1 registration is offered at $870 for six payments or $290 for two payments. Level 2 is similarly priced. Level 3 costs $1,200 for six payments or $400 for two. Level 4 is $1,320 or $440, and Level 5 is $1,680 or $560. Scholarship opportunities are as well available.
The Stingrays previously announced the start of their winter season on November 29, with swim assessments for new and returning swimmers held on November 15 at the Rec Center. Information regarding practice schedules and costs for the winter season, as detailed on a now-retired blogspot site, indicated Level 1 and 2 practices were held twice weekly for one hour at a cost of $140 per month. Level 3 practices were three times weekly for one hour at $150 per month. Level 4 involved five practices per week, totaling 2.5 hours, at $200 per month, whereas Level 5 offered daily two-hour practices for $250 per month.
The team’s website, jhstingrays.com, serves as the primary source of current information, having replaced a previous blogspot site in November 2021. The Wyoming Swimming posting does not specify a closing date for applications for the head coach position.
