Gyeonggi Province Schools Launch family Health Initiative with Digital Healthcare Experiences
DONGDUCHEON, Gyeonggi Province – A new health promotion education experience program is underway in schools across the Dongducheon-Yangju Office of Education, bringing digital-based future healthcare experiences directly to students and their families. The initiative, launched to address a recognized need for enhanced health education in the northern gyeonggi Province region, aims to build a stronger student health safety net through collaboration between schools, local communities, and professional organizations.
The program focuses on experiential learning, offering students and families hands-on opportunities to engage with cutting-edge health technologies and concepts. Officials highlighted the particular importance of this approach in the northern part of Gyeonggi Province,where access to such resources may be limited. The Office of Education is committed to expanding the program’s reach, ensuring more schools can benefit from the health experiential learning opportunities.
“I think this experience program is a very meaningful opportunity for local students to directly experience digital-based future health care experiences,” said Jeon Eun-kyung, director of the Student Health Promotion Centre. She emphasized the Office of Education’s ongoing commitment to strengthening student health safety through continued partnerships.
