Fuel Your Life: Cooking Class for Better Nutrition – Waco, TX (April 23)

Waco, TX – Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, in collaboration with McLennan Community College Continuing Education, will host a “Fuel Your Life: Cooking for Better Nutrition” class on April 23, 2026. The class aims to equip participants with modern cooking practices that support a healthy lifestyle, according to program organizers.

The one-day session will be held at the McLennan County AgriLife Extension Office, located at 4224 Cobbs Dr, Waco, TX 76710, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM. Participants will explore current nutritional guidelines from the FDA and USDA, examine food trends, and learn techniques for preparing nutritious meals without compromising flavor.

The cost to attend is $25.00. Registration is currently open and can be completed online through the McLennan Community College Continuing Education website by navigating to Community Programs, then Culinary, and locating the “Fuel Your Life: Cooking for Better Nutrition” class. Alternatively, individuals can register by phone by calling MCC Continuing Education at (254)299-8888.
