Apple Developer: News, Videos & Events – Bilibili & LinkedIn

Apple has expanded its developer outreach with the launch of official accounts on bilibili, a popular Chinese video-sharing platform, and LinkedIn, the professional networking site. The move, announced March 17, 2026, aims to provide developers with direct access to news, announcements, videos, and updates related to the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) and upcoming “Meet with Apple” events.

The company will leverage bilibili’s video-centric format to share technical content, including WWDC sessions and code-along tutorials, specifically tailored for the Chinese developer community. According to gadgetbond.com, Apple has already published dozens of developer-focused videos on the platform and gained tens of thousands of followers within hours of launching the account. This suggests a significant demand for localized, video-based technical resources among Chinese developers.

On LinkedIn, Apple Developer will serve as a professional hub for developers, offering insights into tools, technologies, and activities within the Apple ecosystem. The LinkedIn presence is intended to complement existing developer resources and provide a space for developers to explore career opportunities and showcase their portfolios. MacRumors reported that Apple views these accounts as a way to connect with developers as it prepares for WWDC 2026 in June.

The expansion into bilibili and LinkedIn follows Apple’s recent introduction of a new Hello Apple Instagram account, which focuses on sharing news, stories, and product marketing content designed to highlight the creative applications of Apple products. This broader strategy indicates a concerted effort by Apple to meet developers where they already are and provide them with information in formats that align with their preferred platforms and communication styles.

Apple’s developer accounts on both platforms will provide updates on WWDC conferences and “Meet with Apple” in-person events, alongside videos and posts that developers can share and reference within their professional networks. The company has not yet announced specific dates or locations for upcoming “Meet with Apple” activities.
