Sabrina Carpenter Celebrates Fan Support and collaborative Spirit at Variety’s Hitmakers Event
los Angeles – Sabrina Carpenter expressed deep gratitude too her fans and creative collaborators at Variety’s Hitmakers event, acknowledging the pivotal role both play in her recent success. The singer, currently nominated for six Grammy Awards, highlighted the importance of artistic freedom and the power of audience connection during her remarks.
Carpenter’s speech, delivered while reading from a diary, praised songwriter Amy Allen and others for fostering a supportive environment that encourages her “crazy ideas.” This recognition comes as Carpenter rides a wave of momentum fueled by her latest single, “Manchild,” and the critically acclaimed album that followed. The event underscores the growing importance of Variety’s Hitmakers as a platform recognizing the individuals and partnerships driving contemporary music.
Carpenter expressed her awe at the artistry created “every time we get the privilege to be in a room with things that make noise.” She specifically thanked Island Records for allowing her creative autonomy,noting their willingness to “not try to tell me what a hit is. That’s rare.”
