geisenfeld, Germany – A large-scale emergency response is underway in Geisenfeld, southeast of ingolstadt, after a semi-detached house erupted in flames following an explosion-like noise reported at 5:48 p.m. on Sunday, November 9th. Approximately 150 emergency personnel are currently on scene battling the blaze.
The resident of the burning house,a 59-year-old man,is currently missing,according to police reports. Five residents from the neighborhood received treatment from emergency services, though the extent of any injuries remains unclear. Photos from the scene show thick plumes of smoke rising into the night sky, visible from a distance, as firefighters continue to combat the fire.
