DubaiS iconic fountain will once again mesmerize audiences starting today, October 26, 2023, after a five-month hiatus for essential upgrades. The dazzling water show,a centerpiece of the Dubai mall and Burj Khalifa experience,will resume performances this evening,drawing both residents and tourists back too witness its spectacle.
The temporary closure, beginning in May 2023, allowed for critically important enhancements to the fountain’s infrastructure and show programming. The Dubai Fountain’s reopening is a boon for Dubai’s tourism sector, which relies heavily on attractions like this to draw international visitors. Show timings have been revealed, offering visitors a schedule to plan their experience around the choreographed displays set to music and lights.
Performances will occur every 30 minutes beginning at 6:00 PM, with the final show of the day scheduled for 11:00 PM. On Fridays and Saturdays, an additional show will be added at 11:30 PM. The fountain’s repertoire includes a diverse range of musical selections,from classical pieces to contemporary hits,synchronized with over 6,600 lights and 25 different color projections.
The Dubai Fountain, launched in 2010, spans 30 acres and projects water up to 240 feet in the air. It remains one of the world’s largest choreographed fountain systems, attracting millions of visitors annually and solidifying Dubai’s reputation as a global entertainment hub.
