ST.PAUL, MINNESOTA – September 30, 2025 - The Minnesota Wild announced today, september 30, 2025, that they have signed left wing Kirill Kaprizov to an eight-year contract extension. The deal secures the star player’s services through the 2033-34 NHL season. Financial terms were not disclosed by the team.
This long-term commitment to Kaprizov,27,solidifies the Wild’s core and signals a clear intent to compete for championships. Kaprizov’s electrifying playmaking and goal-scoring ability have quickly transformed Minnesota into a perennial playoff contender, and retaining him is paramount to the franchise’s future success. Kaprizov has rapidly become the face of the Minnesota Wild as his NHL debut in the 2020-21 season.
