World Athletics Championships 2025: “Bew” Phuripon’s 100m Race

Thai Sprinter Phuripon Bunson ⁣to‌ Make World ⁣Championship Debut in Tokyo

TOKYO, JAPAN – Thailand’s Phuripon ⁢Bunson, known as “Biw,” ⁣will⁣ compete in the 100-meter event at the 2025 World Athletics Championships‌ in ‌Tokyo, ⁣marking his first appearance on the world stage. The championships, running from September 13-21 at the Japan ⁣National ‌Stadium, will​ also feature veteran Thai ⁣athlete‌ Subenrat Insaeng in the ‍women’s throwing events.

The World athletics Championships 2025 represents a critically‌ important opportunity for the Thai national team, led by rising⁣ star Bunson and seven-time SEA Games champion Insaeng.Bunson is‌ scheduled to run in the 100-meter heats/qualifiers on Saturday,September‍ 13th,at 6:35 PM Thai time,with‍ coaching support from “Coach Sos.” Insaeng will begin ⁤her qualifying⁣ round in the women’s throwing event ​on the same day at 7:00 AM in group A, under the ‌guidance of ⁢Coach Reewon⁢ Devonathart.

This year’s competition marks the⁢ 20th⁣ edition of the World‍ Athletics ⁣Championships, held⁢ at the Japan National Stadium – the same venue used for the 2020 Olympic Games ​(held in‌ 2021).
