FAU Men’s Basketball announces 2024-25 Schedule featuring December Tournament in Miami
BOCA RATON, FL – Florida Atlantic University men’s basketball unveiled it’s 2024-25 schedule today, highlighted by a pair of December games within the FIU Christmas Tournament at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center in Miami. The Owls’ non-conference slate includes matchups against Western Kentucky and a home doubleheader featuring FGCU and FIU.
The schedule release provides fans with a first look at the team’s path leading into conference USA play. The Owls will play a total of three home games in december, offering local fans multiple opportunities to see the team compete before the holiday season. the FIU Christmas Tournament presents a unique challenge with potential matchups against UMass and a second game against tournament host FIU.
The Owls will first face Western Kentucky on December 6th at E. A. Diddle Arena in bowling Green, Kentucky. Following this road contest, FAU returns home to host FGCU on December 12th and FIU on December 15th, both games taking place at Abessinio Court at Eleanor R. Baldwin Arena in Boca Raton.
FAU will then travel to Miami for the FIU christmas Tournament, beginning with a neutral-site game against UMass on December 19th. The tournament concludes on December 20th with a game against FIU. All times and television broadcast details will be announced at a later date.
