MONTREAL – Despite suffering a⁤ broken arm at Montreal Airport, veteran Quebec rocker Breen Leboeuf ‌delivered ⁤a moving performance on August 25, honoring both the music of offenbach and the memory of his late friend,‌ singer Gerry Boulet. Leboeuf, known for his‍ energetic stage presence, fulfilled his commitment to the show, adapting to perform without his usual bass.

The concert, described as a nostalgic spectacle, featured renditions of Offenbach‘s ‍greatest hits, including “I sing like a coyote, ayoye,” “Two⁣ other beers,” “Douce of sweet blues,” “Judge and ‌assassin,” “when a rocker,” and ‍”Rock de V’lours.”⁢ the performance ⁢also included emotionally resonant interpretations of “The voice I have” and “My blues are able to in ‘door,” wich evoked a powerful response from the audience, including one of Gerry Boulet’s daughters.

Leboeuf⁢ was supported by four musicians, including Jean ‌Boudreau, who stepped in ‍on bass following Leboeuf’s accident. Superb archive photos were displayed on a giant screen throughout the evening.
