MP Babirye Lilliane Celebrates Birthday, Campaigns for 2026 Elections

ENTEBBE, Uganda – National unity ⁢Platform (NUP) parliamentary hopeful Hon. Babirye Lilliane today launched her campaign⁢ for Entebbe Municipality⁤ MP, signaling a bold vision⁣ focused on ​grassroots development ⁣and transformative change for the region.

The launch took the ⁤form ⁤of‌ a community celebration in Bugonga, Entebbe Municipality, attended by hundreds of children and their parents, primarily mothers. Hon. Babirye, the NUP flag bearer for the 2026-2031 term, used the event⁤ to articulate her commitment‍ to improving the lives of Entebbe ⁢residents.

“We must change this country to make ⁣it a better​ place for everyone, especially​ our⁢ children!” Hon. Babirye declared, resonating with attendees and emphasizing her‍ dedication to inclusive ⁣and progressive leadership.

Hon. Babirye’s⁤ campaign will prioritize education,healthcare,and economic opportunities ​for families,with a particular ⁤emphasis on empowering women and youth. She underscored‌ her ⁢deep connection with the community, especially ⁣mothers ‍and children,‍ viewing them as central⁢ to ​Uganda’s future.

The event also served as a ⁤platform ⁢to express support for NUP leader President Bobi Wine, whose nomination is ​scheduled ​for Tuesday, September 23, 2025. Hon. Babirye aligned​ her campaign with the NUP’s broader vision for ‌a transformed Uganda.

“Together, we will build a country where every child has a chance ​to thrive,” she stated, rallying the crowd with​ optimism⁤ and ‌determination.

Concluding the celebration, Hon. Babirye expressed gratitude ⁣to the ⁤community,‍ stating, as a mother, ‍she will always be ready to channel the community’s ⁢needs. As the 2026 elections approach, her message of hope ⁣and change is gaining⁢ momentum in Entebbe Municipality.
