Lou Ferrigno, Jimmie Walker, Brian Shoop & Mark Sherwood To Star In Indie Film ’Forgotten Fortune‘
Lou Ferrigno (The Amazing Hulk), Jimmie “JJ” Walker (Good Times), Brian Shoop (Tulsa King), and Mark Sherwood (Holy Flicks) are set to star in the indie comedy-drama Forgotten Fortune, currently in production in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The film is a production of Sherwood Films and Full Credit Media.
The project shines a light on elder care and memory, themes increasingly relevant as the population ages. Forgotten Fortune centers on Brian Franks, an 82-year-old retired mailman grappling with memory loss and unfinished inventions, who believes he’s witnessed a murder. His claims are dismissed by family, leading him on a quest to prove his sanity and uncover a connection between a friend’s death, local criminals, and a forgotten fortune from a stock purchase.
Written and directed by Esteban “Stevie” Fernandez jr. (Fork Your Diet), the film also features Cassie Self, Kimberly Gail Williams, Hannah Benson, Stephanie Alicia Rose, Fou Faaiu, greg White, Alan D. cole, and Christopher Anderson.
“To be able to bring a story to life is an incredible experience. Though, when you combine the story with a mission, it becomes not only an experience but rather a life-changing moment,” Sherwood said in a statement. “Forgotten Fortune is a stunning and inspirational depiction of compassion for the elderly, along with the courage of the heart. You will be touched, amazed, inspired, and challenged.”
